As a first gen Indian immigrant living the dream in Chicago, I followed my passion to launch a brand in 2021 that offers minimalist jewelry punctuated with quirks. All the pieces are handcrafted in small batches, and are designed for your everyday wear.

Amaaya, named after my beloved grandmother, brings mementos and well-crafted jewelry pieces to life inspired by modernness of American lifestyle with the vibrancy of Indian culture. I collaborate with premier manufacturers in India to create mindfully made products that honor and support my Indian heritage. 

Jewelry speaks for generations of a woman’s culture, her heritage and her own personal style statement. My aunt and mother always call me out if I am not wearing any jewelry, according to them, outfits without jewelry are just plain.

I grew up in a family of jewelers with 35+ years of experience and know the impact of adding jewelry to your closet can have on one’s wallet. I set out on a journey to offer high quality pieces at more reasonable prices because you deserve the best!
